Divectors was approached by a client with a groundbreaking idea to simplify the private debt management industry. Their innovative product is a user-friendly smartphone app and web service that streamlines the debt settlement process for both Debtors and Creditors. One of the standout features of the product is its consistent and intuitive interface, which is seamlessly integrated across all platforms, including iOS, Android, and web applications. This means that Debtors can easily manage their debts in a simple, secure, and engaging manner, ensuring a hassle-free user experience.
To transform this vision into reality, Divectors was tasked with designing and building the mobile app for debtors, as well as a comprehensive web application for creditor companies. The project began with a discovery phase, allowing us to fully understand the client's requirements and identify the necessary features for both applications. With a clear roadmap in place, we set to work creating an intuitive user interface and user experience, ensuring a seamless experience for both parties involved in the debt management process.
The success of any project often hinges on the effectiveness of the discovery phase. This was no exception for a recent client who approached our team at Divectors with a unique business idea for the debt industry. To ensure that the final product would meet the client's expectations and user needs, our team conducted a series of workshops with stakeholders. The aim was to validate the client's business idea, determine potential users, and design user flows that would provide a seamless experience.
One significant challenge was the lengthy onboarding process that required users to provide personal information and details of their debt. To simplify registration, Divectors proposed incorporating autofill options that allow users to take a picture of their creditor letter, automatically filling in the necessary debt information. This will be implemented in future phases by integrating with third-party services for ID validation.
Divectors implemented several solutions for our client, including: Developing an intelligent credit calculator system that assists users in identifying the most advantageous offer in terms of savings and likelihood of reaching a deal with creditors. Creating a comprehensive debt lifecycle from drafting to loan requests and responses, streamlining the debt settlement process. Designing the user flows for both debtor and creditor versions of the app, ensuring a seamless experience for all users. Incorporating a gamification element to the app by rewarding users for sharing the app with their friends and family, encouraging user engagement. Allowing users to earn referrals that can be used as credits as a token of appreciation, incentivizing users to continue using the app and referring it to others.
With the insights gathered from the discovery phase, our team was able to develop a working prototype that would ultimately be transformed into a minimum viable product (MVP). This MVP allowed the client to test the product in a real-world environment with actual users, providing valuable feedback and insights to further refine the product. The collaborative approach with the client, combined with our team's expertise, resulted in a successful product that was both user-friendly and effective.
